HS is the wide Lista Express housing: 40¼ inches across and 22½ inches deep, against 28 inches for the standard ST and SC housings. The extra width shows up in two places. Each drawer has noticeably more compartment area for the same drawer height, and long items (gauge sets, extrusions, bar stock, fixtures, full-length tool rolls) lie flat instead of diagonally. Drawer capacity is the same 440 lb, full extension, on ball-bearing slides.
The series comes in three forms. HS07 mobile cabinets ride on a locking-caster base at 41½ inches, bench height, with the PreventTip interlock so only one drawer opens at a time on the move; the HS09-0809 is the mobile counter-height version at 47½ inches. HS09 counter-height and HS13 eye-level cabinets are stationary, at 41¾ and 59½ inches, on a fork-truck base with front and rear covers so the cabinet can be relocated loaded.
Shops with big tooling. Machine shops storing CNC holders, boring bars, and gauge blocks; aerospace and defense cells with long fixtures and calibrated instruments; maintenance departments consolidating a wall of mismatched boxes into one wide bank. If most of what you store is small hardware, the standard-width SC and ST series put the same drawer count in less floor space. If it is anything longer than about 20 inches, HS is the right housing.
HS07, HS09, and HS13 are the housing heights (7, 9, and 13 Lista height units). The four digits after the dash are the factory drawer configuration: HS09-0501 is the HS0900 housing with drawer layout 0501, five drawers. Every model here is a fixed Lista part number, so the cabinet you reorder in five years matches the one on the floor. New to Lista numbering? Our guide to Lista Xpress part numbers decodes the rest.
All four series share the same drawers: full extension, ball-bearing slides, 440 lb per drawer, three colors, and your choice of keyed-alike, master-keyed, or keyed-different locks. The difference is the housing.
| Series | Housing | Forms | Pick it for |
|---|---|---|---|
| HS Series (this page) | 40¼″ wide, 22½″ deep | Mobile, counter-height, eye-level | Widest Express housing: large tooling, gauges, long parts, the most compartment area per drawer |
| ST Series | 28.23″ wide, 28½″ deep | Mobile only | The classic Lista rollaround footprint, deep drawers, 5 to 7 drawers at bench height |
| SC Series | 28¼″ wide, 28½″ deep | Counter-height and eye-level, fork-truck base | Standard-width stationary storage: tool cribs, parts rooms, banks of matching cabinets |
| MP Series | 22.2″ wide, 28¼″ deep | Mobile only | Compact rollaround that fits under a bench; the same pedestal used in Lista workstations |
Need a drawer layout that is not on this page? Every Express housing is also available in any drawer configuration through the cabinet configurator, priced delivered, in about four weeks.
Every HS cabinet ships in Bright Blue, Classic Blue, or Light Gray, with keyed-alike, master-keyed, or keyed-different locks chosen at order time. Matching cabinets you already own? Send a photo of an existing key and we key the new cabinet to it before it ships. Lost keys later are a ten-minute fix with a replacement lock core.
A top turns a mobile cabinet into a rolling bench. These are cut to the 40¼″ housing and ship with the cabinet:
40¼ inches wide by 22½ inches deep, the widest housing in the Lista Express line. Mobile HS07 models stand 41½ inches tall; stationary HS09 counter-height cabinets are 41¾ inches and HS13 eye-level cabinets are 59½ inches.
Housing width. HS is 40¼ inches wide and 22½ inches deep; SC is 28¼ inches wide and 28½ inches deep. Both share the same 440 lb full-extension drawers, the same heights, and the same fork-truck base on stationary models. HS gives more compartment area per drawer and fits long items flat; SC fits more cabinets in a row.
Delivered prices on this page run from $3,405 to $5,135, with free shipping to the contiguous 48 states. Mobile HS07 cabinets sit at the low end; eye-level HS13 cabinets with nine drawers at the high end.
Yes. HS07 mobile cabinets ride on two fixed and two swivel 6 by 2 inch locking casters and use Lista's PreventTip locking system, which allows only one drawer open at a time, so a loaded cabinet cannot tip while it rolls.
Every model on this page is part of the Lista Express program and ships in 1 to 2 weeks, freight included to the contiguous 48 states.
